The presentation will discuss a variety of mature and feature-rich open source projects, such as Spring, Hibernate, Drools, Groovy, and JQuery, and how we were able to integrate these to create a sophisticated application platform. Crucial design elements of this platform include Inversion of Control and Dependency Injection provided via Spring, and dynamic code via Groovy. In addition to developer technologies, I will discuss the importance of testing, in particular integration testing.
